I am grateful for all that I have.

One of the first things I figured out was if I focused on lack or what I didn’t have, I felt really low. I turned my focus to gratitude of what I did have have. I would make gratitude lists on paper and in my head. I started to really focus on what I was experiencing that moment and feel grateful for it. Even the smallest of things. One day when I was walking dogs on a dog walking app, I was really low on gas. I needed to have enough gas to get through that work day and my morning dogs on Friday. I prayed the night before and all that day. I kept my mind off lack and held faith that my gas money coming. I walked my regular dogs and then went to the home of a new dog to walk. When I pulled up I was like this is it, in order to keep working today, gas money must appear. I walked into that dogs house and went to the leash on the counter. There was note that said “thanks for walking our dog” and a ten dollar bill. It took everything inside of the keep my composure. After I took care of my dog I got in my car and just sobbed. I felt grateful! I felt supported! I felt relieved. After I dried my tears, I went and got gas. I still remember how I felt when I pumped that gas and I make a point to feel that every time I fill up! I make a point each day, especially in the morning to focus on being grateful. My coffee! Hot running water! MY OWN BATHROOM, the ability to be able to walk to the toilet! The list goes on all day! I would like to challenge everyone that is reading this to comment three things they are grateful for in the comments!
